Our Grandfather - Ogboni Fapohunda
The story focuses on Fapohunda ("Ifa" oracle changes his forecast). Indeed Ifa changed his words for the better. For Fapohunda was rich not only in terms of material wealth, but in people, fame, honor, and respect. He was loved by many and had children from marriages across Ibadan, Egbe, Offa, and Ilesha.
A war General of his day, he was the Ogboni of Ilesa and owner of Ereja. He had an estimated twenty-seven children from twenty-one wives.
